Blessed Are the Unoffended
“These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be offended” John 16:1
This week on Sharin Hearts Woman to Woman, Jaine and Sharon discuss the topic of offenses and answer the question: What does it mean to be offended? What are the many ways that we can get offended, and how does that offense relate to God? If I am offended by a friend, family member, community member, or situation, does that mean I am offended by God?
When we understand the subtle ways we are letting offenses take place, we will have a better understanding of how to recognize them before they take hold of our hearts.
Hard hearts are usually held together by the mortar of offenses, but when we refuse to be offended, that’s when God is able to mold our hearts into His image.
