Mentoring Matters is a discipleship program that will help Christians evaluate their foundation: to find things that have made our faith weak, and also to build upon things that have made it strong.
This conversational discipleship program uses the material from A Manual for Biblical Discipling: The Matters, Materials, and Mechanics by Bob and Janie Ratzlaff. “It is our small contribution in the making of disciples as Jesus instructed believers to do, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age” Matthew 28:19-20.
The purpose and goal of mentoring or discipleship is inspiring and equipping others by providing the tools and training to “grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” 2 Peter 3:18.
With more of the deteriorating secular culture being accepted into the organized church, the task of teaching and maintaining a Biblical culture and worldview is becoming more difficult and imperative.
