The Great Vinedresser

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit” John 15:1-2.

In Matthew 13:15 Jesus said that the hearts of people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed.

In digging through the soils of the parable of the sower, we find that the thorny heart of choked out by the cares of this world. The solution is found in John 15, the father prunes those vines so that we can bear much fruit.

So we invite you to join in the conversation as we discuss yielding our hearts to the Great Vinedresser.
