Defining Types of Sins

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness: according to the multitude of Your tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin” Psalm 51:1-2.

This week on Sharin’ Hearts Woman to Woman, Janie Ratzlaff and Sharon Hoskins examine the different types of sin mentioned in scripture. Even though, sin is not categorized into levels of big and small. The sins discussed are avenues by which we allow sin in our lives, sometimes unknowingly.
The sins that are defined are transgression, iniquity, wickedness, guile, and lawlessness. Knowing the definition of these sins will strengthen our armor and give us the knowledge to stand against the subtlety of the enemy. There is a printable pdf under the resource page if you would like to have a copy to study.
