The Corinthians in Carnality

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby: if so be you have tasted that the Lord is gracious” 1 Peter 2:2-3.

This week on Sharin’ Hearts Woman to Woman, Janie Ratzlaff and Sharon Hoskins discuss the hard sayings that Paul is sharing with the Corinthians in Chapter Three. He tells them that he can not speak to them as spiritual people but he has to talk to them as if they are babes in Christ.
He tells them that they are carnal Christians, in other words, they were living out their Christian life in their own wisdom and opinions. They were all doing what was right in their own sight and envy, strife, and divisions were displayed in their daily lives.
He has established in previous chapters that they had mixed their culture with Christianity yet they believed that they had arrived at full maturity. Pride has set in their hearts and Paul is working to tear down the walls so he can strengthen them in Christ.
So join in the conversation as we discuss the Corinthians in Carnality.
