I Beseech You

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” Romans 12:1.

In a loving plea, we are urged to present our physical bodies to the Lord. In their conversations, Sharon and Janie challenge us to get our bodies under control in order to get our minds renewed. Janie discusses how the five senses were meant to be used for God’s glory and how we have mistakenly used them for self. Reminding us that pride is usually at the root of it all, “Ego is the anesthesia that deadens us to our own stupidity.” How true this is for so many of us.
