Personal Call to Repentance

“He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” Rev. 2:7, 2:11, 2:17, 2:29, 3:6, 3:13, 3:22.

This week on Sharin” Hearts Woman to Woman, Janie and Sharon continue their conversation on the cry of repentance that is being heard once again in America.

Hebrews warns us not to harden our hearts to the voice of the Lord. In Revelation chapters 2 and 3, each letter written to the churches, Jesus warns us to have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to us.

So join in the conversation as we discuss the importance of making this cry a personal call to repentance.

True Repentance

“Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent” Rev. 2:5

This week on Sharin’ Hearts Woman to Woman, Janie and Sharon are looking at the letters written to the churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 to find what Jesus said about true repentance.
In each letter, Jesus commends them, corrects them, commands repentance, and gives the consequences if they refuse repentance.
As we hear the cry for repentance in our nation today, we want to know what that cry really means for us individually.
So, join in the conversation as we discover the requirements for True Repentance.

Faded Glory

Today on The Fireside Bookshelf, Ginger Green explores Faded Glory by Maurice Lednicky

Today, Bible-believing followers of Jesus are appalled and horrified at the immoral (perhaps amoral) standard that is commonly accepted in our culture. Is the guileless agenda of TV, movies, and music simply coincidental? Are the blatant attacks against those who have a strong commitment of faith isolated acts of the few extremists? Maurice Lednicky doesn’t think so.
In today’s feature, Faded Glory: The Church in a Cultural Crisis, Lednicky insightfully addresses the impact of cultural attitudes and behavior the church has embraced in recent years.

At issue is the manner in which the church has allowed itself to be influenced by culture. There can be no doubt that we are in a serious cultural crisis and that the church of Jesus Christ is in the crosshair of the enemy’s biggest weapon.

So come be a part, as Maurice Lednicky reveals how to properly go about evaluating cultural mores without compromising our faith.

Crown of Life

“Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love Him” James 1:12

This week on Sharin’ Hearts Woman to Woman, Janie and Sharon continue their conversation about the five crowns mentioned in scripture. These crowns are known to be rewards that some will receive when they stand before the Lord at the judgment seat of Christ where all believers will receive praise from the Lord.
The crown of life is mentioned in James 1:12 which tells us the prerequisites for receiving this crown.
So join in the conversation as we examine the Crown of Life.

Crown of Glory

Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve” 1 Peter 5:2
