I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist
This week on Sharin’ Hearts: The Fireside Bookshelf, Ginger Green discusses “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist” by Norman Geisler and Frank Turek.
This book presents a cumulative case for Christianity by arguing that it is the most logically consistent worldview. The core premise is that every belief system requires some degree of faith. Still, atheism actually requires more faith because it lacks the explanatory power and empirical evidence that support the Christian faith.
Ultimately, Geisler and Turek conclude that while absolute proof is impossible, the evidence for Christianity is “beyond a reasonable doubt,” making belief a more rational choice than unbelief.
