Wholly Devoted to God
Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment.” Matthew 22:37-38

Joshua 14:14 tells us that Caleb wholly followed the Lord God of Israel. The Lord gives Caleb’s resume’ in Numbers 14:24 saying, My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring him into the land and his descendants shall inherit it.
The physical struggles Caleb faced were not removed but he rested in God’s promises and resisted all counter influences; producing good fruit right up to the very end of his life.
