Benefits of the Cross

“I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me” Galatians 2:20.

Having just passed Easter Sunday, Janie and Sharon discuss the countless benefits we receive from the selfless act of the cross. As the media, communities, and many families communicate the celebration of Easter focused on a bunny, some eggs, and a hunt for candy to the children of the world, the real reason for Easter Sunday seems to grow dimmer and dimmer.  Yet, just as Jesus ministered to the thieves while He hung in pain and forgave all the people who nailed Him to the cross; He extends that same grace and mercy to all of us today. He loves you, died for you, and wants to live with you forever.
