Practical Tools for Spiritual Growth
“For the joy of the Lord is your strength” Nehemiah 8:10.
It is easy to get caught up in the busyness of life. We can have our schedules cram-packed full of “things” which makes our mind set on overload. The people in our life have needs that we are responsible to fill such as; dinner, laundry, grocery shopping, school pick up, band practice, sports practice, and the list goes on. This doesn’t even count our own needs, which usually get put on the bottom of it all, rarely to be addressed. When we fly in an airplane, we are instructed to put on our oxygen mask before helping others. For us women, that seems so out of order, it almost just doesn’t feel right! However, taking care of ourselves first with God will make us better for others in our life.
The Shepherd’s field has become such a hot topic over the past few weeks that we thought it would be a good idea to give some practical tools that would help you while in that quiet time with God. The time with the Lord is where you will find spiritual growth. God will draw you ever closer in those special moments alone with Him.
The second half of the show (starting at 27:15) is dedicated to hearing fromĀ a new author, Lori Klickman, and event coordinator, Carla O’Neil, who share about the Brave Conference where Lori will be speaking. Lori also shares about her ministry “Out of Ordinary.”
Recorded live on KWXC 88.9 Christian Talk Radio – Grove, Ok.
