Believing Lies as Truth

This week on Sharin’ Hearts Mentoring Matters, Janie and Sharon expose some of the lies that we have believed as truth. The lies that we believe affect our lives as though they are true, even though they are a lie.

In the culture we are living in today, lies spread quickly and the truth is suppressed. “In the last days, perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own sleeves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God” 2 Timothy 3:1-6.
Grounding ourselves in the truth of scripture is a sure way that we can protect our hearts and lives from being deceived with lies.
As you listen, we pray that you will examine your heart to find where you may have believed lies as truth. Allow God to reveal, renew, and restore your foundation in Christ.
