Sufficiency of Scripture Part 4

This week on Sharin’ Hearts Mentoring Matters, Janie Ratzlaff and Sharon Hoskins discuss the word of God as being Jesus Christ as described in the Gospel of John Chapter One.

Renewing our minds in the scriptures is actively growing in our relationship with the Lord. So, as Christians, if we are neglecting the word, then we are neglecting Jesus. Therefore we think that we can change the hard sayings of God’s Word (Jesus) to make us feel better, but Malachi 3:6 says, “For I am the Lord, I change not.” But, if we can’t change the hard sayings of God’s Word (Jesus) and refuse to hear them, then we become offended. Jesus said, “Blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in Me” Matthew 11:6.
As you listen, we hope that you will examine your heart to find where you
can be strengthened in Christ and discover how truly sufficient the scriptures are for your daily life.
